Thanks for reposting...I missed it the first time. Have used transfer factor plus as an supplement and it worked great! I can't wait to try this new blend. It doesn't kill Lyme, but sure gives my immune system a boost. Have not had a full blown cold in 2 years while taking this! Ernie

Ernie, did you use the Advanced Medical Labs product or the 4Life transfer factor product?

I tried it for 3 weeks and was sick as a dog! I still have the expensive thing in the frig but don't use it. I have also heard that Transfer Factor works for acute infections but not that helpful for chronic lyme infections (heard this listening to the Hope to Heal Lyme DVD's).

I must add that my dog ZB was diagnosed with Lyme's also and then ended up with cranial cancer on top of that. He took the Canine Transfer Factor and his tumors actually shrank! Instead of the 2-6 week life expectancy the doctor gave us, ZB lived 6 months in great health, shiny coat, energy of a pup. The day before he died he refused to go on a walkie. The next day he took a nap and never awakened. The Transfer Factor gave him a good 6 months. Skitter

I asked PN S. Bentley with Dr. J if I could get transfer factor and she told me it was not available any more.

Correct me if I am wrong, I was under the impression that transfer factor was only available as an IV. How could it be effective in pill form. On paper it looks good, it treats CMV, EBV and HHV-6, I have all of these. With all the terible people out there trying to make a dollor off of the poor and ill how could you trust a product like this.
My Dr. told me there is only one drug on the market that can treat the herpes viruses mentioned and that drug is only used on the worst of cases like AIDS.
Is there any kind of prof that this transfer factor will do what it says?
How much does it cost?

FWIW - Several months ago, I ordered some thinking this would be great as I still have a very low CD57. I then asked my LLMD about it and she FORBID me to take it. Absolutely no way. So I shipped it back.

Yes, it is available in pill format. I'm not aware of it in IV format. Are you thinking of IVIG?
As for Lyme patients taking it, there does seem to be some debate. Why did your doctor forbid you from taking it? I know some Lyme doctors that promote it and one in particular is even on the web site of 4Life products supporting Transfer Factor.
