I'm 3 months into ABX treatment, some interesting symptoms I'm experiencing I'd like to share to see if anyone else feels these things:

*Crazy random sinus problems (never had sinus issues before). Last night I woke up and felt like the spirochete was right in my nose causing my nose to run. Yes, weird, I know...
*Have to nap in the afternoon, but I almost always regret it because I wake up feeling like crap. It's to the point where my wife doesn't like me napping anymore.
*Intermittent twitching of my eyes. If it's not one side its the other.
*Constantly having to clear my throat.
*Twitching throat.
*Yesterday I got excited while driving (I was racing my buddy who got a new motorcycle - whole 'nother story) and my neck and head got all locked up. Yes, weird, I know...

Tell me I'm not alone. Thanks!

Not to worry Jay, these symptoms will eventually disappear and a whole new set will take their place ! You can get almost any kind of strange symptom with lyme, especially when the abx starts killing off the bacteria.

Eventually, the abx will take care of all of it, but in the meantime, buckle up, the roller coaster is going up...........^^^^^^^

I have had every single one of those symptoms-the sinus problems were severe when I first started treatment (never had sinus problems before). Five months into abx treatment and many of these symptoms have gone or are seen only occassionally.
So no, you are not alone!

Hopefully feeling bad after a nap will not progress into feeling bad every time you wake up during the night as well.

Expect various symptoms to come and go and especially look for symptom changes when changing to a different antibiotic.

Hang in there.

I have some of the symptoms you have. My sinuses where clogged, would run often. Ketek helped with that. Very hard to swallow, just reveiced an esophagus operation that made the swallowing better. Muscle twitched occasionally on the thighs. I always nap in the afternoon, since I am out of work right now.

The napping is so familiar. I felt like I was narcoleptic. If I sat still long enough, I napped. The twitching and other problems could also be a B vitamin deficiency, caused by the stress of the disease itself or medication. Make sure you are getting enough of the B complex vitamins. Skitter
