Anyone out there experiencing really high triglyceride counts (like, in the 600's when it's supposed to be less than 165)?
Also, every time I try to exercise (which I need to do to lower those triglycerides!), I seem to hurt somewhere or pull a muscle. I've tried nearly everything. Anything that's really going to get my heart rate up seems to injure me.
Walking blows out my knees. My NordicTrak (even going slowly) has given me a pulled calf and thigh muscle. There's no place to swim near me. I've got chronic, late-stage Lyme, for which I'm taking minocyline and zithromax, 5 days on, 5 days off.
I also take psyche meds for bi-polar disorder, which is unrelated to the Lyme: Seroquel, Lamictal and Klonopin. Also, Davocet, Cenestin (hormone for hot flashes), Skelaxin (muscle relaxant), and Zonegran (the last 3 for pain). Also, I take the supplements recommended by Dr. Burascano from Pharmanex for Lyme patients.
Help! THANKS Sheri

Sheri, I'm not a dr. or a nurse.

Before I was dx with my chronic, late-stage lyme disease 7-04 after being misdx for 34 years, I was dx with DIABETES 2!

With your high triglicerides, you may have diabetes also. Ask your MD for a "A1C" ... 3 month blood sugar test; NOT a simple finger prick test.

I've been blessed with diet & exercise only to treat my diabetes, but I can't exercise much due to total body fatigue, etc. from treating my lyme.

Best wishes on getting your A1C tested!
