I dont know if this is related to lyme or not but i thought i would throw it out there...since im sure not going to get answers from the ducks.

Last night i drank 2 glasses of carnation instant breakfast and got very sick felt like i was going to throw up...also felt this cold sensation in my throat like what i drank was just sitting in my throat. I took a tums and just told myself this too shall pass. Since all my organs are functioning fine...i know its nothing to do with any of them....i do know when my symptoms first started carnation made me very sick as well.

Night sweats- last nite and a few other times ive woken up covered like i broke a fever...and this morning i feel weak and feel very wierd. Also having to think before typing and spelling some words....kinda like my mind is just a tad slower today.

Thanks all for your help...

Carnation doesn't sound like a healthy diet for someone with Lyme. Are you able to eat solid food?

Night sweats are common especially if you have babesia, have you been tested?

memory problems are common with lyme also

Feel better,

I have an appointment on Wed with a lyme dr...i had the general western blot done and that was negative thru quest diagnostic. I can eat solid foods but the ER recommended i have liquids...when i went there the other nite...after last nite though im going back to solids. I dont have an appetite at all though...which has come and gone since i first got sick.

what is a good diet for someone with Lymes?

Can you eat foods like oatmeal or Oat bran (hot cereal from health food store)?

I find these help me when my stomach is feeling awful and I'm feelin awful. It feels like "comfort food." It doesn't have the affect on the candida like other carbs do.

Nausea /night sweats/weakness sound like Babesia, but do ask your LLMD as Bartonella can present similarly.

Babesia is treated differently (with anti-malarials) and it needs to be treated before the Lyme usually, or you will not get rid of the active infection.

I'd cut out all foods with chemicals and preservatives in them. Try oatmeal, cream of wheat, or something like that. It could possibly be a food allergy! The brain symptoms and night sweats are very common. I get the really hot feeling frequently throughout the day, as well. When everyone else is cold, I'm wearing a t-shirt! It's a different feeling than hot flashes, though.

depends on the LLMD
I'm sure the instant breakfast is loaded with sugar and the milk contains sugar as well. Have you had Lyme for awhile? Maybe you already have a yeast problem even tho you're not on abx. [I had yeast before the abx myself....was from my suppressed immune system.]

You may as well begin NOW to eat a healthy diet.

Yes, and yes.

You may be able to get away with eating small amounts of other fruits once you get the yeast under control. But really, while you're on abx, you're wise to stay away from fruits.
