WOuld be highly coincidental if it were the flu. I would send the tick to Igenex for testing and call my LLMD for ABX advice.

Are you currently o ABX?

I had these exact same symtoms when I first got sick and I tested positive for babesia and lyme. So move on it fast if it continues.

Make sure you are on adequate meds for Lyme. If you're not taking abx now, call your LLMD!!!!

I'd suggest skipping the testing of the tick. I had one tested by Igenex last April and went on abx the same day I found the tick.

Nine days later i came down with a flu-like illness!! The tick that was tested came back NEGATIVE for lyme and babesia. NO WAY! I had numerous problems for several months after that before getting things back under control.

I will not waste my money next time. There are hundreds of strains of Lyme and they can't possibly test for all of them.

Hope you feel better soon!!! [group hug]

Having the tick tested can be beneficial when it comes to insurance.

If the test comes back negative, it doesn't prove lack of infection as you can easily be bitten by more than one or a nymph, which is so hard to find when attached. Also, your insurance company needn't know that it was negative if it is negative since we pay out of pocket at Igenex.

Yes I am on Abx. I take 500 mg of Zythromax. I take Oregeno/sage tablets and vitamin E and C. I just can't believe the luck I have. I still have a stiff neck and my liver hurts !

I think with me what can happen will happen to ME !

Thanks for everything
