I am relatively new to this board. I was diagnosed with chronic lyme about 2 months ago, but have been sick for over 10 years. I am feeling very confused and hopeless about getting better from some of the stories I hear. I am also feeling so depressed and feel as if I am in such a mental fog, I cannot get out. I have many questions I will post in a separate post, but just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself.

Welcome to Lymenet intoxincated. There is alot of info on this site, just keep reading.
Don't feel hopeless! You will get better. I was undiagnosed for 38 years, and have been in treatment for just under a year. I feel ALOT better then I ever have before.
Do you have a LLMD and are you in treatment?
By the way --- I love your signature saying, its very cute.

I love your signature also!!!! I have been really sick for about 3 years - infected upt 8 or so most likely - diagnosed March of 05 and in treatments since. Treatments do help - its a long road but you can get better.
