Hello,

My daughter has been on Ketek 800mg once a day since July. She took just 400 mg. the first week. She seemed to HERX on day 3. We are starting to see some improvement in her health. More good days and less brain fog. SHe takes this at supper time with food. She does have some issues with nausea. We are not sure if it the Ketek or Lyme. She takes a digestive enzyme before her meal, a ginger tablet in the middle and the Ketek right after dinner. Thsi does help the nausea most of the time. Good luck.

be sure to take lots of acidophilus during the day when you are on this. [Razz]

I started Keetek a year ago August. Was hardly walking when I started...am now working. Had a major die off....but have felt progressively better ever since. I take 800mg once a day after dinner...I haven't found it be as bad as some other antibiotics in terms of yeast, but I still take a good probiotic. Also take diflucan around every 10 days.

Good luck!

Do you do anything special with you diet? Did your doc recommend the Diflucan every 10 days? I like that idea.

Hi Jay,

I'm on Ketek 400mg bid + Flagyl. Maybe that's why the divided dose.

Keeping up the probiotics is sage advice.
