Hi Everyone,
Many of you know my son Derek has Lyme. When he went to the occupational therapist for his joint pain, she noticed what might be a tracking issue with his eyes.
He continues to mix up a few of his letters and gets headaches. So it was recommended that Derek see a Pediatric Developmental Ophthalmologist.
He is going there tomorrow and I am wondering if any one else has had an eye tracking issue from lyme? Or a new onset of writing your letters backwards after diagnosed with lyme?
Thanks!
LymeBrat

Dominic had trouble with his eyes year before last. He was seeing alot of dots (floaters) so many he couldn't tell what he had bubbled in on a computerized test sheet.
He also had trouble with mixing up/fliping letters for a while too. Once treatment started at that time it was the flagyl things got better.
He also starting using eye drops Dr. C gave him, 4 times a day for about 3 months. He hasn't complained of his eyes since.
Best of luck with Derek.
Hope ya'll are doing well Starr
