I'm going back on Malarone, which means going off CoQ-10.
The only problem is, I think it'll be really hard to go off of in terms of my energy level. I've been on a high dose (400 mg per day) and it's the only thing that gets me through the day now that I'm bedridden.
Does anyone know how it interferes w/ Malarone? If I stayed on it, do you think it would make the Malarone 50% less effective? 75 % less effective? etc.
Thanks! Bec

I read out here that they both use the same receptor. They would compete with one another. I don't know if you could space them appart to limit this competion. I also was on 600 mg of CoQ10 for about 4 months of treatment - now 200 keeps me going ok. It so expensive.
