Do any of you experience atypical symptoms from lyme disease? I have had a general variety of symptoms chest pain to confusion, and are not sure how long I had lyme prior to antibiotic treatment.( likely more than one month )
Here is a list of symptoms that I have had in no general order. I am just wondering if any of you fellow lyme sufferers have had any of therse symptoms.

Look at the link for newbies at the top of the page. you will find LOTS of info.
I agree, your symptoms are all some of the more common Lyme symptoms. Your best bet is to get to a doctor who is knowledgeable. This is an infection. Diet and excercise are only supportive, they cannot get rid of the infection, if that is what you have.

In the Newbie section...I linked lyme symptoms to Mg deficiency symptoms one by one. The posts are titled: "Long overdue."
My "Updated Nutshell" post is a "summary" of research explaining what happens. It is all documented and linked. I update it periodically as I gain more knowledge. Print it out to study. Highlight just the sentences, ignoring the links for now to begin to gain an understanding. It's pretty complex if you are not medically inclined, but we are all learning. This will hopefully bring you up to speed faster.
This is one nasty, nasty infection.
Exercise as much as you can tolerate. Eat and drink only healthy things...really, really healthy. No alcohol and if you smoke...now's the time to quit. Low glycemic index (sugar) diet is the way to head. Complex carbs are okay (and needed)...starches...not "sugar". Use the sugar substitutes like Stevia or Xylitol.
Bottom line: 1. Get Magnesium, phosphorous and B vitamins up (esp.). 2. A far infrared sauna or an ozone sauna will help. 3. Antioxidants...critical...all of them. 4. If you go on abx. (antibiotics), probiotics...lots (!) are absolutely essential...one hour before meals with a full glass of water.
You will, as we all did...go into "information overload". Don't panic. We all went thru it. Big learning curve. This is a very complex disease.
When I first found this board, I was too embarrassed to ask what LLMD stood for! Geeze...and I was a nurse. LLMD = lyme literate medical doctor. A "duck" is a doctor who is "clueless" about lyme disease. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Lots of nice people here willing to share information....what works for them, what didn't, etc.
This is teamwork. Welcome to the lyme team of patients and concerned family members.
