I have - and it helps nerve pain but unfortunately it makes gastoparesis worse (what doesn't!), so I couldn't continue it.
My llmd, gp and osteopath recommend it highly for nerve pain.
good luck.

gastroparesis is the stomach's ability to empty itself. the stomach contracts about 3 times a minute so it completely empties between 90 and 120 minutes after eating.

Thanks beccaman - basically - what the doc says for me is like all other organs lyme affects the stomach and it paralyzes part of it. So nothing gets absorbed.
beccaman I liked your description.
Nal, sorry I couldn't help more.

Hi, Nal,
I just spoke to my mom, who has had Lyme since the mid-1970's, only diagnosed a couple of years ago (she didn't believe me). She has had peripheral neuropathy in her feet for years and years. She tried meds, injections, surgery -- nothing helped.
She is now on Lyrica, and doing great! I can hear the relief in her voice. Lyrica is a new narcotic, a controlled substance, but my mom is able to do well with a low dose so far. If you are in severe nerve pain, you may want to consider it, so you will have some quality of life while being treated for Lyme.
Regards, Shaz
