Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus and his name is Dr. Jones.
Santa represents someone who is willing to give to make others happy without any concern for themselves.
Even though DR. J is in his 80"s he devotes every minute of his life to restoring the gift of health to thousands of chldren around the world that have lyme disease and co infections.
Dr. J works six days a week so that our most precious gift, our child or grandchildren. can play without profound fatigue caused by lyme. So that our children can walk without the severe joint pain, so that our little ones can lead a normal life without being labeled handicapped, due to the effects of lyme disease.
Dr. J gives his entire life to treating our children with lyme disease. He does this for love not money. He does not have a elaborate office. His waiting area has well loved toys donated by the children he has treated.
Dr. J's office is small and his walls are covered with thousands of endorsed photos of children thanking him for hellping them to "be able to function like other children". Dr. J treats our childen as if each one of the thousands of patients were his own child.
I mentioned to my daughter that Dr. J was in trouble and her response was............
"Mom, We HAVE to help HIM in return for everthing he has done to help me feel better.
She had a box with money that she had saved for Christmas gifts and brought it out to me. "Please send this to Dr. J Mom, tell Sabar to give it to him to help him fight the mean people."
That is just what I did, I took her money and wrote a check and sent it directly to Dr. J with a note "Our Thank You ..........For your Defense".
How can we put our "Santa Claus" on trial? He has devoted his entire life to helping heal our children. Without Dr. J would any of us with children that have lyme disease be celebrating Christmas?. I know I would not be.
Dr. J has given me the most precious GIFT of all, everyday I wake up and see my daughter's face, everytime I hear her voice, the days she brings home her report card so proud that she got Straigt A's again........................those are the nights I thank DR. Jones a million times for treating my daugher for lyme disease and helping her to lead a normal life.
Putting Dr. J on trial will cause a reinactment as seen in the streets of New York in the movie. "A MIRACLE ON 34 STREET"
Thousands of parents will flood the streets not of New York as in the movie, but of CT., blocking off traffic to show our support.
We will all be carrying signs that read, I traveled from California to show my support, I came from Delaware because DR. J saved my Child's Life, ........................it would be a real reenactmet from the movie scene.
There will be media interviewing the thousands of supporters................. each one telling how Dr. J has helped their sick child get well from lyme disease. There will be children themselves there carrying teddy bears to show their support for Dr. J.
Putting Dr. J on trial is like putting Santa Claus on trial..................he is a wonderful, intelligent, kind man that gives without expecting anything in return ............to save the lives of our children with Lyme Disease.
What better gift could any Santa Claus bestow then the gift of health.
DR. Jones, my daughter and I will do everthing possible to support you. WE BELIEVE!!!
Love,

I do not know Dr. J but I have heard wonderful things about him and under different circumstances, we would have tried to go to him..
I am very saddeded by yet another attack..I think it is not enough to just win but to perhaps have someone gutsy enough to counter sue the vile ones.
And Aunty, I think you are definitely on to something..While the movie was fiction, I think bags of mail and actual patients and parents and friends storming the court would have a positive effect..lymemomtooo

I too was saddened to hear about this and hope to be at the rally. Dr.J has helped so many, my children included.
When I read this post to my children, they thought that sending the money to help with Dr.J's defense was a great idea. They want to send in the money they have saved to buy each other a Christmas gift as well. It's not much, but I think it will show Dr. Jones and his attorney how much these kids trust and love Dr.Jones.
My son said that "Dr.J is even better than Santa. Santa only brings kids toys and he only comes once a year. Dr.Jones is better, because he helps kids all year round.
And my daughter added..( a little girl who loves Santa ) "And he makes kids feel better, and that is way more important than toys."
Out of the mouths of children..
We will do anything we can to help!
