Yes, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that sick people can have a tough time getting thru the holidays, and then collapse or crash when the partying is over.
Also, there is the shock of the bills in January after holiday gift giving.
And, January in CT can be cold.
Please DO keep the *crucial* cause of Lyme children in your mind this holiday season!!!
We cannot afford to take any one of our doctors or our opportunity for treatment for granted.
I keep thinking of all the sick kids out there now who have not been diagnosed yet..... maybe they played in the piles of Fall leaves and got a tick bite (more common than we think) and just about now their parents are doing the frantic search for a specialist who can figure out the systemic illness that has changed their child.
Please keep them and their beloved Lyme Dr. in your hearts and minds this holiday season.
It is not too late to send in a letter if Dr. J. helped your child.
