Has anyone ever had thick callus on knuckles from lyme or co infections...My son has had this for years and they are getting worse..There is one that is so thick and splitting. Almost looks like his finger is broken in half at the seam. Thanks

Yep, I get this. It gets better with abx. It's common for lymies to have dry skin. It gets worse in the winter time when the weather is dryer. Putting coconut oil, or olive oil on the hands helps. He may have to do it 2 or 3 times a day until it gets better.
I don't think that it is from yeast. I think that it is from the bacteria sucking up a lot of our cholesterol and fat. If it was from yeast, then abx would make it worse, not better.

Thanks I was thinking this morning it may very well be candida. I used olive leaf extract to get rid of my warts and just started him on this also. He is on a ton of probiotics to keep yeast in check. I also have GSE extract in house. I may try this also. Thanks again

Yep. I got 4 or 5 on each hand, just on my index fingers and thumbs. Strangely, the big, ugly callouses weren't where I'd gripped anything. They just came up, stayed about a month, and eventually fell off as new skin grew under them.
I've had Lyme about 6 months. The callouses formed about a month ago and just fell off during the last few days.
