Does anyone know of situations where someone has beaten Lyme without any types of treatment?
It sounds like it affects everybody a bit differently, and to different extremes. I was wondering if there was a such thing as a "lighter" case of lyme, and that if it was something that an individuals own immune system took care of, or minimized to such a point that it was not a major deal.
Just curious.

In 1995 I became ill but in 1997 i was healed for 80 percent. but in 1998 after a lot of stress and overworking the disease came back in a much more agressive way.
Antibiotics are very important. You have to use them two month's longer after symptoms disapeared

Im with pq on this one--
Before I got sick I was in very good health and good shape--
These grems are very strong- hit me like a Buss-
There may be a ''lighter'' form of lyme that dose not turn your life into a painful horriable existance-- But no one here got that one--

Many, many are exposed to Lyme bacteria and carry the infection while the immune system is able to keep it in check. It's the one or the few things that are being added to the once light load as we go along living and accumulating toxins that might eventually be the straw that breaks the camel's back. The more stressful our life and environment, the quicker the system will finally break down. Often it takes that unexpected event that happens in one's life to make it a real tough disease.
Learn about it, study it, and do something about all of it. It can be "deadly" and very nasty once it has you in its claws.
Warning: It is not just one infection - it consists of several that are all begging for attention!

To me, once Lyme breaks through and you develop serious symptoms, trying to heal without treatment would be like trying to un-ring a bell.

Nope. That would be like trying to fight cancer without any type of treatments. Your body alone cant do it-it takes treatments to take care of it.

I know a woman who had the diagnosis of CFS/fibro forever. Even though she was gradually getting better, on a whim, her doctor had her do a LUAT. They were all stunned when it came back positive.
But she never treated the Lyme with antibiotics or anything else (HBOT, etc.). She simply continued what she was doing (supplements, pacing, etc.) and kept getting better. Today she can care for her two little boys, do housework, lead a relatively normal life. Before her sons were born she could work part-time from home.
So yes, I think some people can get better without treatment. Most of the people on this board probably need aggressive treatment of some kind to get better. Where you fall on the spectrum probably depends--like so much else--on a combination of genes and environment.
One of my good friends, a long-time course leader for Outward Bound who spends months in the woods, has seen multiple bull's-eye rashes on herself on many different occasions, and never did anything about it. She's in perfect health and has never had a single symptom of Lyme, likely meaning her immune system was able to clear the infection before it really started.
Unbelievable! Makes me want to tear my hair out! Oh, what I wouldn't give for her genes!

Hi, I am pretty sure my cat has got Borrelia because I live in a 'red' area for lyme (I got infected with a SINGLE bite!!), my cat gets about hundreds of bites a year.
He's never got sick, just saw the veterinarian once in his life (for a fight he's got, broken leg). He lives outside in freezing Switzerland!!
He's around 5 years old, I think.
So he could beat lyme with no problem. Not my case!

doctor told that this is impossible and there is no resistance for this disease. BUt he laso says it can be treated LOL and i am not traeted .
