I have been quite sick again and I have decided to give Dr. Zahng's Allicin Protocol a try. I ordered everything for fighting Lyme and Babesia.
I am going to keep taking some of my abx just in case. I really hope this works. Has anyone had good luck with this?? I start tomorrow morning and now of course I am going to stink for the Holidays but I guess I will have to deal with it@@ LOL [Eek!] [Eek!]
I will keep everyone posted if you are interested on how things go with this. I know someone who has gotten there life back on this and I am hoping for the same.

Michelle, I started on his protocol 5 days ago.
For Lyme and Babs.

I stopped all other abx.

Let me know how you make out.

Hi.
I started the Zhang protocol either 10/13 or 10/27. I have noticed improvement in the 2 symptoms that continue to plague me: lower back ache and a very annoying feeling that I have a hairball in my throat that I can't cough up.

I continue to take, in addition to Zhang's protocol, cat's claw toa, fish oil, gingko, mag citrate, Sam-E (for mood), probiotics.

Oh, and omnicef (2x/day).

I can honestly say that the back ache is much less bothersome and some days I finally feel that I might get that hairball out of my throat.

I'm not 100% and still have herxes.

And, I do exude a garlic odor that some find repugnant, but others don't notice. I did figure out that chlorophyll which was recommended to diminish the odor, tended to increase it instead.

Interestingly though, I'm finding that my stomach isn't what it used to be. More instances of sour stomach and discomfort after eating and not much appetite. Especially bad after either a stomach virus or food poisoning laid me low 2 days last week. I can't believe what with all the stuff I take that I could get a stomach virus or food poisoning, but there you have it. Unless I've become reinfected with h. pylori. I hope to heck not.

Well I am on day 3 and yes I smell.....LOL!!! Thank God my husband is Italian and used to Garlic smell. My dog is even looking at me like I am a meal. LOL. (ImLymed) I think that is your name. Anyway I noticed you are from ME. Are you seeing a doctor in ME. Because I do. I finally have some relief from my bad head pain. I started on the Allicin and AI#3 so far and will be adding the other fun stuff in soon. Taking it slow.

I relapsed very badly right before starting this so I hope to see some improvment to get me back on track. I am still taking my Mepron and Zithromax. I will keep you updated. Michelle

Guess what? My LLMD is in ME too, altho I live in NYC. I'm from ME originally. I think we go to the same Drs.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I'm sleeping much better, the sweats have stopped, the brain fog stopped with the Ketek which I stopped taking in August.

I'm also using allicin spray directly on the back of my throat and up my nostrils for this hairball that is so annoying.

Yep, Same doctor!! [Big Grin] That's so funny!! Dr. C is doing so great on the Dr. Z protocol that I guess a lot of her patients are also trying it. I live in Mass and saw her on TV so I drive to her once a month. I really like her and Dr. M. Great people. Michelle

It's not allicin it's allitridi a metabolite of allicin that is not as strong an antibacterial, but is more stable, it comes in those glass vials because it oxidizes easily in air. Its best as an antifungal. Its made in mainland China where it is very cheap. He charges way too much for it. You can also get HH much cheaper. Its a cookie cutter approach, some do okay on it but he takes unfair advantage financially iimo.

I knew somebody that stopped her antibiotic, and tried Dr.Z's protocol. She thought it was working, but after a while, she totally crashed! She ended up back on antibiotics.

Yes, I did hear how expensive it is. Everybody is different, so what might not work for one...may work for another.
