Just started Dr. Schardt's regimen of 200 mg diflucan daily and no abx for 50 days and then narrow spectrum abx for 50 days and then repeat the cycle... I am crossing my fingers and toes for a positive outcome... has anyone out there gone thru this protocol, and if so what did they experience? An answer would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what we are doing. Our llmd's timing seems to be a bit different.

Two months of diflucan, 100mg the first month and 200 the second. Then a month of Ketek and Omnicef. Then if symptom and herx free 1 diflucan a week for an extened amount of time. We went into this about 80-90% better.

We just finished the diflucan and continue to have no pain. The real improvement has been in energy level and mental ability. I'm having some fatigue and joint pain in my fingers, but I have been renovating a few hours every day, so the fatigue and joint pain may be from over work.

We shall see how we do down the road.

How would I find a doctor who is using this protocol. My llmd has never heard of it and is not willing to give it a try but after years of antibiotics, I am still very symptomatic and feel that I need to try a different approach.

Thanks for your help.

I just got put on pennicillin vk and flagyl.
I asked if we could try this my figuring is the pennicillin will kill and what it dosent send into cyst form then flagyl work on that.

I'm not on the protocol, but I have been using penicillins plus a modest amount of artemisinin for quite awhile.

200mg a day of Fluconazole was added to my regimen this past month, and I can say that the combination really stirs things up.

It is potent stuff.
