Can someone please explain to me how strict I should be with eating 30 minutes after I take my CSM. I try to be as strict with it as possible. But at times I eat 20-50 minutes afterwards instead of just 30. Also sometimes I'll start at 30 minutes and then I'll eat for 30 minutes. I have pretty severe food allergies so my options are pretty limited. I have found that nuts are pretty easy to easy 30 minutes afterward. Is this okay? So basically could you guys answer me this.
Is it okay to eat 20-50 minutes after? or does it have to be a strict 30 minutes.
Are nuts oily enough?
What if I forget to eat? I am a lymie after all.

I am not that strict about that part. More strict about not taking any other supplements for at least 2 or more hours after or they will not get absorbed properly.

It is my understanding that the only problem with eating or taking meds too close to CSM is that it will just get carried out of the system. Our doc has always said that you can eat within that time frame; it just won't count nutritionally. I am overly careful about meds. I try to keep at least three hours between CSM and meds - not too easy if you are trying to get down 4 doses!

I think Scott is right. The food will trigger a release of bile, which is best if the CSM has gotten far enough into the gut. But I don't think its super critical. Whether or not your meds or supplements will get bound up is much more important.
