I have no idea, but I had an abnormal ANA and was sent to a rhumatologist and all his tests came back normal so my duck said i was fine...I don't even know what it means to have an abnormal ANA, just that i have it...can anyone explain to me?

ANA or anti-nuclear antibodies are something found with auto-immune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis. It is a non-specific test meaning if it is positive for ANA's they do further testing such as rheumatoid factor and I think it's called Le something for lupus. It indicates an autoimmune problem if positive.
Mine was negative too and I have the rib and spine pain which moves around.
