A friend of mines aunt who lives in NJ has what I think are lyme symptoms with no dx as of yet. She has been on a 2 1/2 year roller coaster ride.
I met her yesterday and she said her Cardiologist did Igenex testing and it came up positive for past infection. Sorry I'm having huge brain fog but wouldn't an LLMD treat that as a positive?
My Igenex test was positive for current infection not past but was pretty sure she has it.
BTW, I gave her the webiste for this board and told her to read read read.

Hi tickalert,
Yes, I think an LLMD might? LLMD's know how to read the tests better than doctors who are not as knowledgeable about lyme and co-infections. I hoep your friend gets the help she needs and finds a LLMD soon.
Good luck to you both.

I discovered that even LLMDs can't always agree on what's positive and what's not. A so-called lyme expert declared my Igenex test inconclusive while another said it was positive! I had a 26 year hx of Lyme and a positive Bowen test, too (and yes, I know Bowen says everybody is positive), plus a third positive test, the name of which I can't remember at the moment. I suspect the doc was under some type of political scrutiny at the time, but still I don't have anything good to say about Dr. J.J. in PA!
