Sandy, sorry you are having a depressed day. You are right, I'm quite sure it is the lyme and yes, it too shall pass. I'm thinking of you and pray you will feel better tomorrow. Know you will when your daughter returns from her trip.......

Hi Sandy,

Your post gave me a chuckle...not laughing at you, laughing with you. I'm sorry that you are feeling depressed. Yes, it's one thing to be giving the support, it's another to be needing it. But here we all are, for one another.

Thanks for the ``welcome'' you gave me on another thread, I just saw it. It feels kind of homey here because of already knowing people, such as you, and Dalphia.

Hope you're feeling better real soon. I've been so encouraged by your determination, and helped by you sharing your experiences.

Hugs and best wishes always,
Hopeful

Sandy, that's what this support group is all about and that's helping others. Four years ago I was so depressed and so anti-social that I rarely participated in this group. I was a lurker.

Today I'm so much better and I feel a great need to help others with what I've learned about this horrible illness.

I can remember early ('99) on when I was of the opinion that you could take some pills and fix it. When fix it wasn't happening to me, I was blessed with the desire to look outside the pill box and find a way to make life better. Don't get me wrong I'm still taking some meds, they help with the symptoms that still linger.

You've got to do, what you've got to do to survive. Better days are ahead.

Take care, Pam

You guys (ladies) are so sweet. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

My husband has just gotten my Rife machine set up and I'm going to start today (a little nervous on frequencies, time, etc.)

I'm so sick of the abx and wonder how much of the depression is that. I'm going to pulse the abx and see how the Rife does on my off days.

Hopeful -- I'm glad you're over here. I've learned so much from this site. You've helped me a lot on the other board also. We've sure had our share of lyme vs. CFS/FM discussions.

Gaye, thanks for your encouragement. You've been sooo helpful to me the last few months.

Pam -- what alternatives are you using outside the pill box (I've probably already read it in another post.)

Sandy, I'm a rifer. I have been for 2 1/2 yrs. I found just rifing for lyme would only get me so far. It wasn't until I found a chiro muscle testing doc and starting working on me about 15 months ago that I really started getting to all the other things that was keeping me from successfully treating lyme with rife.

I've done cleanses, colonics, parasites, detoxing galore. I used my rife machine for strep, staph, e-coli, malaria etc etc etc.

Now I'm treating alot of emotional/mental and spiritual traumas of a chronic illness. See Christmas '01 I hit the wall and couldn't pull myself up and went on sick leave. Christmas '02, 3 days before Christmas, company sent me a termaination letter. So needless to say I have some very deep emotional things going on during Christmas.

There's just so much to this and it's so deep there's no wonder we all couldn't take an abx and get over it. Much easier said than done.

Take care, Pam

Pam,

Sorry you've had such a rough time. This is definitely a multi-faceted disease like I've never seen before (or ever want to see again).

Did the Chiro give you certain herbs that helped you? Just curious.

I'm excited about using the Rife machine for other things like parasites and the viruses I have. I just want to get off these antibiotics so badly. They really make me feel awful.

Or at least use them periodically like Bryan says in his book. I still haven't started Rifing yet. I'm not sure how long to do the frequencies for my first time --- don't want to majorly herx.

Hope you keep getting better --- I hope that for all of us,

Sandy
