Hi everyone, Well since I've been without treatment for almost 3.5 yrs now needless to say I haven't been well in these yrs but in the last 5 months my symptoms have gradually started ti kick up super bad and I'm almost back where I was 12 yrs ago.. I am having an issue now that was never a problem for me before and it's REALLY making me insane and that is Brain fog!!. Throughout my ordeal with lyme and co infection this is one symptom of mine that was never too bad but in the last 2 weeks I've been pretty sick and the brain fog just WILL NOT LET UP..How in the world do you deal with this? The doctor has me on erythromicin to try and help my gastroparesis and *knock wood* it seems to be helping somewhat and this treatment is comming with it's own side affects, but the brain fog has been getting worse and worse over the last 2 weeks way before I started the new med.. Any advice? Thanks

Lyme, could the bad brain fog be yeast? Any time my brain fog gets really bad it's generally yeast. Are you taking anything for yeast? My suggestion would be to call your LLMD and mention it.

Personally I never got over my brain fog till the third time I was put on ceftriaxone(rocephin IV).
for two months solid.
I also started taking lexapro at the same time to balance out the seratonin in my brain that seemed to help cut the electric surges thru my brain that I experienced. Also kept me from obsessing too high and too low.
Ya might want to check into some sort of psychotropic...I know I hated them also....till I found one that worked with minimal side effects for me. Gaining weight tho.....zman
