[toilet] Should be Big ole green Face.
I am a BUG Magnet, all I did was go down from elevator to mail 4 steps..
Was bit little while back.
Prior had short bouts, or days of nausea.
Well, was bit, they think WNV/bit by mosquito.
Was alone so ill, started same when had meningitis/Lyme first bite yrs. ago Was the begin of the end so to speak.
I got bad headache, then hit eyes, neck, usually run may tops 97 temp. Am & other times much lower. After few days ran 104 temp. Really high for me.
Too ill to even call 911, could not even process that. Actually felt for hr. or 2 this is it...
All this including surg. longer story, do not want to bore you tooo DANG much [Wink]
After strong enough, also still have scar on elbow(bite), took 3 mo. for infection to heal.

Anywho, since nausea lost total appetite, force down health shakes, on phenergan/compazine/ use giner other herbs. Nadda.

Recently had endoscopy, they had to do moocho repair,(due to hiatal forcing acids back up.Said need to talk to doc, may have to put tube in to save what is left. Hear not fun. Went in for tests 2 hrs. surg, besides finding intestinal tumor, after colonoscopy. Also other polyps.
Still waiting on results.
This has been almost 2 yrs. trying all type suggestions. Besides the meds. It allows me to force some food down, atleast.

Thing is nothing from aciphex,herbals,etc.
Nothing helps,
As if on non stop chemo, from previous pts. stories.
Never though would have to fight to eat, keep wt. on. [Eek!] Wish this would been when young fighting those 5-10 extra lbs.
Doe`s anyone know.
I felt this bite triggered another co-infect.
Hear Erichliosis can cause non stop nausea.

Anyone else with this type prob.
Was told most of their Dr. do not believe in Lyme.

This is wearing me thin, HA literally.
Besides,24/7,pain fatigue++++...
This is truly keeping me from any type life what so ever.
Stuff I love the smell of, turns my Tum-Tum.

All I can say it started after the WNV/encephalitis bout.
Any thoughts????
At my wits end.. [bonk]
Thanks, great New Yr. Eve talk, if you are getting ready to eat, SORRY....You prob. are doing something to get out anyway...
I thank you for any help, thoughts, in case after all my research missed something.
My Primary, just writes script, that it...
Hugggss, Lone Lost/Kerry

I would push your doctor to run panel 5060 at Igenex and then share the results here for comments when you have them done.

Hi Kerry,

I'm wondering if you have been tested for h Pylori? It's a bacteria that lives in the stomach and is hard, but not impossible to eradicate. It can give you bad symptoms like you are experiencing. I know....I'm on antibiotics for it also. In fact, the h Pylori must be addressed before the abx for LD can really work!

Take care [Smile]

Yeah Kerry,
H-Pylori can be part of the problem...the only thing is...H-Pylori is cross referenced with Lyme disease.

I still come up positive for H=Pylori even though I no longer have the symptoms. I suspect it's because I still have lyme infection...

By the way what is the abx combo for H-Pylori?

I forgot it as I did it years ago and prior to my diagnosis for lyme.

Anyway....Kerry....hang in there......yak at ya later....zman

Yes, Hey Ton-Y & others. HAPPY NEW YEAR...
Yes, 1st. time they did esophageal repair, found Hiatal Hernia. Said, test for H-Pylori was Neg.I am sure they ran test this time.

I have not gotten test results from tumor they found in colon or polyps, or endo.
I called, they sent the result out.

Guess with all the holidays, tests etc., running behind.
I did have rather large Sigmoid Tumor removed.
Plus moocho repair.
Like said ended up being in over 2 hrs.

The nausea is just getting too much along with the pain.24/7
After I was on gurney most of day. Now my legs keep giving out took pretty good fall in Publix recently.Legs gave out, as they have lately.
New years Eve, (after fall triggered headaches).
I was going to go out, as day went on so did headache, turned into/Cluster/Migraine.
Spent midnight holding on to Toi-Toi,saying ralph,..UGH....hmmmm Happy New Year..
No, this was without the fun party, never got that far...DANG.
Ton-Y,OK,know what you are thinking... Ole potty mouth again...YIKES, for sure this time...
Tum-Tum still sore, lost gag reflex with all this so it ends up pretty bad when goes that far.

I have tried just about everything I know...
Must be related to bite, WNV/encephalitis.
Only thing must stirred another Lyme co-infection. Since then never had break from nausea.
[toilet]
To keep some wt. use 1000 cal, health shakes.
Plus the probiotics,ginger,cinnamon, etc...

Anyone Else???
I am working on my Doc. to contact my Ins. about allowing me to get some tests at Igenex. Just no 1 on my Ins. will treat, anyway. [bonk]
Take Care All, Appreciate your feedback, at wits end almost.....Kerry [group hug]

Regarding hPylori, my GP (who will no longer see me as he does not agree with the rheumatologist's protocol fro LD, said the bacteria could be cured in 2 weeks with double abx...although he didn't say which ones. He was alaso upset that I was on Thyroid, Acyclovir, and Amox 3 grams daily for 6 months so far.

I have been taking Ketek 400mg bid now for 5 months for the hPylori. My doctor is in no hurry to stop it, as she says it takes a long time to eradicate it. I also take Prevacid 30mg bid.

Hope you get tested for this, and start feeling better soon!

Hi, Thanks taking your time to reply.
One thing I found true for us that have been given anit-acids. From the prevacid, or aciphex to little purple pill???
They can actually make acid worse if on any length time.
Found to be true thought couple those were miracle after took for awhile. Then acid got worse after time. Which I am back on till see Dr. for test results.
The brain starts making more acid thinking you need it to digest your food, which these meds even over counter suppress.
Then makes double the acid for digestion, then is more of problem.
So I suggest not to take for long periods of time.
I get this info over my net all the time how these meds work, yet brain does not catch up.
Rather like dieting, the brain not catching up causing you to put on more wt.
Just some info been researching.
Much longer doing best to put into short terminology.
Take Care [group hug] Kerry

I haven't suggested this before, but have you considered pot? I have a friend on chemo who says that it has changed her life back to something she can live with.

Kerry,

Thanks for the info about staying on Prevacid too long...will inform my doctor.

Pot is not a bad idea. They say it really helps with the nausea....

Ya know,

Dealing with lyme is bad enough when one is free.

I doubt dealing with it in jail would be any fun at all...

Hey PM. Sorry to hear the latest...

I'm nausious just reading about you....LOL...zman

Hi, Amazed me that was 1 of things my doc 1st suggested. Almost fell of dang chair.
He rarely has input.
When he mentioned it felt it was my 1 recourse.

Soon after made illegal for even health issues.
DUH, was never a user. Yet, if was legal sure would give it second thought. He even asked me if I heard about??? DUH... Imagine my surprise he is rather straight laced so to speak..

I am not saying should not take try it at all if previcid or others help.
Just made sense that I got worse after period of time on it.
Doubt doc. will agree unless he is alternative & reads up on what actually happens.
Mine disagreed, knew he would.BTW/ Montel is still in battle that he wold never be out of bed with out his weed or been think of working. [group hug]
Good Luck, Thanks
