I am not aware of any case that the symptoms would recede completely after such a treatment.

I didn't do rocephin but did 6 months of many different abx IV.
It wasn't untill oral abx followup sometime later that my symptoms started to clear.
Where you tested and or treated for any co-infections?

no co-infections. Symptoms that did clear were no more headaches, sinuses cleared, neck stiffness went away.

It took 4 1/2 MONTHS (not weeks) of IV rocephin for me to see improvement.
8 weeks seems not long enough, especially since you are not yet symptom free.
Will you be on orals next?

I was on Ketek for 3 months. I will be tested again by IGeneX in February. Aetna would cover anymore treatment.

long term orals. Treat for co-infections anyway.
My IV llmd said I had no cos. The next llmd used the same lab a year later and found bart. He also tested for and found mycoplasma and RMSF.
