sorry to ask another question, but i get this very frequently and it is very stressful. more so lately because my consciousness during them is getting more intense and it feels like i am dying of suffocation. even when i am lying down or am tired (as in when i am *conscious*), it keeps feeling like i am unable to take oxygen in well enough, sometimes very intensely like i only have a couple of breaths left before i freeze.

Hi Daniel

I had the freeze ups a couple of times--
Perty scairy--Longest it lasted on
me was about one and one half hours--

Shortness of breath is a sign of Babs--
Do you have night sweets?
Stiff neck-joints?
Muscle tightness ?

Its a good idea to list your
complete symptoms list --

Deseases have similar symptoms-
but some give clues--
for co infections-Babs -Bart ect-

Go to newbee page and copy
and paste Dr B symptoms list
Into a new post--

Then then answer questions on the
list--Look at Luke 339 post--
Do it like that--

If you dont know how to copy
and paste let me know and Ill
explain how to do it--Jay--

I have had it. One time, the only thing i could feel was my eyes twitching, I could not will my body to move. I just layed there frozen. THis has happend twice. Once before treatment.

If you do a search you should find some posts about this that might be of some comfort to you.

Another time i woke up with my whole right side numb....that lasted a few days.

A few weeks ago, i had a few bouts of what I call in and out of consiousness...it felt like i would pass out......it was so strange and sent me to the ER. My heart rate was elevated and my temp was 96.

Ive been told by others on this board that I may have babs...im going to run this by my LLMD tomorrow.

Im sitting here now having odd breathing.

could it be sleep apnea?

friend at work with only one lung has it and has been treating it with special mask or headgear and is doing much better. she talked about times when she stopped breathing while she slept.

she went to a sleep clinic for diagnosis.

very foggy today, so i'll sign off.

feel better

Do you take any sleep meds?

Jordan doesn't take Melatonin because he would have sleep paralysis the morning after taking it.

He is now on Trazodone.

Howdy,

I definitely experienced sleep paralysis during Lyme infection. It was one of the most scary symptoms I had.

It resolved with adequate treatment, which was a year of abx therapy from an LLMD. I have not had another episode in around 2 years.

Keep on, keepin' on!
