I was told specifically by two different folks at Kaiser Permanente(ly) stupid...........that generic Zithromax was not available. WTF!? They also want me to pay about a hundred bucks more than the national average for the amount they prescribed. WTFx2!?
I'd really like to hear from someone in California who has purchased Azithromycin in the state.

You might try checking the MediCal formulary. If they have it, then it should be available. And if it's available, I would think they would have it.

No there is not generic Zithro in California unless anything has changed in the past few months since I was on it. Check prices from other places like Canadadrugs.com (i think that is the link) and other places. Costco isn't usually the cheapest. If you can get them to mail it from WA I would do that.
