been on minocyclen for 3 weeks...was doing great, all of a sudden this afternoon chronic arthritis in the knees came back...would this be considered a herx...legs are swollen

if anyone could help this would be appreciated...

Three weeks is about the time for the growth cycle of the bacteria-most definitely a 3 week herx-this is a good sign!

I've read alot of people get swelling during a herx reaction.

Ussually I get soooo tired.

LLD just to be sure.

But it might be a good idea to check with your LLMD on Monday about that swelling.

Please be specific in topic title, swollen knee is this a herx? Busy board here w/3-4 FULL screens of posts/replies. We have to pick & chose for our limited time here.

don't have LONG paragraphs...break them up to 6-8 lines of text & DOUBLE space for us chronic lymies.

You will learn alot. READ TREEPATROL'S NEWBIE LINKS; 1st screen of medical. Print it off, check of as you read links. Many months of reading & tree updates regularly.

Print off Dr. B's 05 lyme guidelines; 40 pages; he's our lyme literate MD expert!
