Just wondering if thier are any other women that are currently pregnant and under treatment for lyme.
I am aware of all the risks involved with transfering lyme during pregnancy and do not need a diologue dealing with that as it seems to be a rather volitile topic here.
Just looking for other woman who may be in the same situation and thier experiences.
Thanks

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant and you have Lyme, you have to be treated. Most pregnant Lyme patients take Amoxicillin or Bicillin shots or both for the entire pregnancy and have blood levels monitored. You should not breast feed, and when the baby is born it must be tested for Lyme via placenta, cord blood and urine.

I am the moderator of the pregnancy and Lyme Yahoo Group. Things have been a little slow lately... But we have some great women there and healthy babies that have been born!
