I'm seeing a new doc who wants me to have a PET. Has anyone had one? What do they measure? What are the results if read by a nonLyme Literate person?

What they don't tell you is that the "substance" they irradiate is most commonly a sugar. This is because they know that cancer cells in particular and other pathologies crave sugar, so the isotopes illuminate the affected region.
Not to suggest that you have a cancer, only highlighting the hypocrisy of the medical profession in utilising the illnes/sugar connection for diagnostic function after the fact, but not for prevention!
