i am taking fish oil (2 per day), a small aspirin and the regular dosage of co-q10.
i know this combo thins the blood. does anyone know when is it too much of a blood thinner effect?
also - any particular advice on good brands of fish oil - I take the one from whole foods - any better ones? thank you!

I would not see that as a concern for myself personally - I take fish oil, COQ10 regularly. Not the aspirin, but I also take enzymes specific to thin the blood - more likely the issue for Lyme folks is thick blood, not thin blood. I also have not heard much about fish oil or COQ10 having any significant thinning properies. In some cases, I have even read that COQ10 can inhbit the effect of blood thinners such as Coumadin.

Nordic Naturals was also recommended to me by a certified herbalist years ago and I have used it ever since. No nasty aftertaste either.

I take coumadin for a heart problem. It thins the blood to minimize risk for blood clot induced strokes. I get tested every two weeks for proper coumadin level.
I also take CQ10. Yes it affects the coumdin dose. But, I was taking CQ10 50mg every day. But, Because it seems to have caused me to have paranoid feelings. I cut back on CQ10 to 3 times a week or less. The weird feelings have gone away....
I take Omega 3 oils also. Wallymart has Spring Valley Fish oil on sale for $8.97 300 count 1000mg...
