I am really going to get tested for lyme, but as of today my parents and i just don't have enough money to travel and pay for a doctor's appt--we do have insurance but it's sorta crappy. Anywho does the doctors reduce there rates if they know you can't afford to go or anything? I mean i would have to wait until either i was approved for social sercuity or until we saved enough money.
i am not trying to look for charity, in fact i hate asking these type of questions, but my parents are still paying off a hospital bill from last year. and being farmers doesn't help much at all.

I don't know about reducing rates, but they might let you set up a payment plan if you contact them about it in advance. Hospitals do this, but I'm not sure if a doctor's office will be so helpful.
It is expensive for office visits and medications. My sister believes that she too may be infected, but she has no insurance yet and cannot afford the testing right now.
