I read Dr. K's report & Dr. B's report and I still can't figure out whether I can take mepron/zith at the same time I take arteminsin.

I take so many supplements now that there isn't enough hours in the day it seems to separate all these med's [confused] by 2-4 hours.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kathi

I took all 3 at once, if you are really worried ask your doc, but it should be fine. [Smile]

I was on 'malarone' at the same time as artimisinin (and antibiotics as well (not to mention all kind of other stuff)). 'Malarone' is basically the same stuff as 'mepron', in solid tabs. I had no problem., and this combi was the key to my getting better; no doubt about it.

DaveS- how long were you on the Malarone and Artemisinin? And how long off?

I'd been on Malarone for about 8 months and when I tried to go off, symptoms returned. I've added Artemisinin 3X day for about 1 1/2 months.
