Does anyone notice that you seem to catch alot of colds this time of year? Could it be something with the immune system or being on so many meds.? I just had a cold two weeks ago which took a week to get rid of and now I have another one. Just thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Before I was treated I had colds and cough about half of the time. Now I hardly ever get them.

this past month, theres been a bug of some kind here in the north east, nyc/nj area. havne't heard of what kind though.

i spent last weekend in the e.r. with this on top of lyme headache. had temp.(not measured), sweating, a little chill, weakness assoc. w/ a cold/flu, not that assoc. with lymedue to motor neuron weakness, where your standing, or walking then stop, and your legs tend to buckle. no blood work done for infections, so i don't know what hit me.
spent the last 5 days on the couch. the cold broke yesterday.

just feeling 'relatively' good today.

from what i've seen in the healthy vs. myself, a lymie, it took me a shorter while to recover.

You guys are "lucky" I haven't had a cold of any kind for two or three years. My immune system kils everything except the BB, I can't wait to get my first cold, I hear it's a good sign of things returning to normal (BB dead!)

Hi,

I've had lymes for 8 years. I've been treated for 14 months now. I just had my second cold in 8 years.

It felt good. It lasted about a week. The people I work with think I'm strange. Happy to Have a cold. I sure hope it means I'm going back to normal.

Came down with Lyme in Nov. 04 and did not suffer with one cold or sniffle all winter long last year. And that was my first year getting back into nursing with all those bugs around me. But guess what? About 3 days ago came down with a doozy of a cold and still suffering. I too am kind of excited because my body has felt great besides the cold stuff:).

Just got over a cold, laryngitis, the whole bit. Felt crappy, but not nearly as crappy as Lyme. AND I was wondering if it would trigger a relapse. It didn't!

Nice to see my immune system behaving.

Regards,
Shaz
