Hi all! I have been so busy that I haven't been around in a while. I just have a few questions.
I got bit around Sept. 23. I have taken 3 months of Doxycycline. I tested positive with Igenex. Anyway, I am on my last few pills and go for my follow up visit next week.
My question is.... How do they tell if you are cured? (can they) Can another Igenex test show that?(another whopping 500 bucks)
I really hope that all is clear. The only effect that I still wonder about is muscle, joint pain. I seem to hurt alot. I don't really remember that before Lyme. I do have Scoliosis and I am really trying to believe that it is just that.

There is likely not a "cure" for Lyme. In other words, you likely still have the bacteria but hopefully your system is now able to deal with it more that it is at a lower level. You also really need to consider and test for and address co-infections. Unfortunately, I am not of the opinion that one ever completey is cured from Lyme. You hope for becoming asymptomatic, but if you don't treat your body right, detox, eat a reasonable diet, etc., it is probably lurking around the corner and relapses do happen.
