What is the treatment for ROcky Mtn Fever and Erlichia? My friends dog just died last week. She lives a few houses away.

I am very sick...so is my son...we are getting so bad. My congestive heart failure, kidney failure....no doctors are listening to us. My LLMD is out of the country and I am failing fast. I am gaining weight like crazy from fluid. The congestive heart failure test is going lower. Matthew's kidney profile shows an elevated BUN/creatinine level. and duck is blowing it off.

Son is increasingly irritable, black circles, peeing problems,

Can kidney profile be Babesia...or can it be Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever.

My friend's dog had Rocky Mtn and he died. He had edema, heart, fever, kidney, etc...

what is the dosage and medication? I am assuming IV antibiotic. I know that I am going down hill fast, but I can't let my sweet boy die.

PLEASE EMAIL FAST...leaving for hospital in an hour. Taking Dr. J's # with us even though we aren't a patient yet. Maybe he can tell us what dosage to put us on. My dr is out of the country.
