Where do you buy it? At GNC or a website?

It is NOT available at GNC.

KAL brand is a good one at a cheap price...
available by phone at 319-235-0246 for $14.95

also, probably the best one (as it made as an amino acid chelate) is available at NuCara Pharmacy, Waterloo, Iowa...at $23.95

I was wondering about the type of magnesium earlier today. I'm glad to see a discussion.

I read a couple of places that Magesium Malate was good for calming down muscles, the nervous system and fibromyalgia like pain.

Here's one site:
http://jvm.com/health/malate.htm

I don't know anything about this subject. Could you please tell me why you think glycinate is the best?

Mg glycinate is supposed to be more easily absorbed.

I use the KAL brand.

I take Magnesium SR and have had very good results from it. WalMart is the only store that sells it around here for about $24, but you can also search online by typing in "Magnesium SR" and there is a site that also sells it for around $24.

We have been taking mag malate for 3 years. We cut the tabs in half so the dose is about 56mg. We take it many times a day.

We were on tetra for several years. We were careful no to take mag within two hours of our tetra.
