Read Dr. K's info on my site linked in the Protocols section. There is some discussion there on parasites. Tindimax is generally a good option for Giardia in my experience. Long-term use of freeze dried garlic may also be useful.

Are you positive that you have it? How do you know?

The drug of choice is Quinacrine 100 mg tid for 5 to 7 days. What dose of flagyl were you taking?

Tinidazole is also suppose to be effective against it. 2 gr in one dose a day for 5 to 7 days.

You might have other critters in there with it, so you may need to do a triple combo on it. Check out this site for more info: http://www.badbugs.org/

I had giardia 14 years ago, treated it with two treatments of flagyl, and surely messed up my whole digestive system for good.

One thing that is recommended for all parasites and I knew people who treated giardia and were successful is pumpkin seeds (not roasted). They are eaten on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning: mix ground pumpkin seeds with equal amounts of honey and take 5-6 teaspooonfuls before breakfast. (natural remedy book recommendation). My friend who had it also took seed without honey (about 10 or so, each morning) and it worked. It is done for at least 3 weeks.
Garlic also helps.
Good health,

June- it's so funny that you would say that about the pumpkin seeds because I just picked up a bunch..How do you tell if they are baked or raw?

Scott--I checked out your site, oyu have alot of info...have you found any exellent rife settings for these kinds of critters? I did tinidazole twice with success but it comes back...ugh

Gigi- thanks but when it started I wasn't on anything(about 2 years ago) it has waxed and waned since and think it is still the original complaint..Gigi where so you get your matrix flora? Is it the best one?

thanks all...
