hi, I have the appt next week with LLMD. Can I get a prescription from my GP for abx and take those for a week? I am wondering if it would impact the igenex lab work. Don't know if doctor will send the lab to igenex. Should I ask the dr to send blood there to get it tested or all LLMD know that?

It would be best to not take the abx before testing, unless you are going to take it for several weeks, then OFF for 2-3 wks before the test. Doing this often causes a bigger antibody response on the Western Blot. [a good thing!]

Not all LLMD's are created equal, but a REAL LLMD will send the labwork to either Igenex or MDL. The majority of them use Igenex, because it is, in most peoples' opinion, the best.

SO....hold off on those abx!!
