Hey all,
I have had a change of doc (finally seeing an llmd) and he has started me on a protocol of alternating diflucan then Ketex---I was previously on 400mg of Doxycycline and alternating Flagyl with no progress. Anyway, here is my question: does anyone here take Xanax with diflucan?

I get horrible anxiety and like taking little pieces of the xanax occasionally to calm myself down, but the pharmacist told me taking the two together will intensify the effect of the xanax. She did however stress that it's still safe to take them together. Anyone take these together before??

Many thanks,
Carrie

I take Xnax and diflucan toegtehr and have for a long time. I personally have never seen any type of side effect from them used at the same time..

I take .25 mg a day and soemtimes I take another .25mg split in tiny bits throughout the day so maybe if I were on a bigger theraputis dose I would see an effect.

Hi. Have you ever tried Ativan? I found it to be very effective without the highs and lows if Zanax. It takes a little longer to start working, but the effects last much longer, and I have to take it less often. I found Ativan to be a good "maintenance" med.

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone...
I tried some Xanax last night and had no problems! Although I should admit it was like a tiny chip off of a .25mg pill.
