My one son and I have been on abx since August and have not been on flagyl, yet. When did your doc add flagyl or tini to the mix???

I should go look at my Dr. B. guidelines before asking. (I will do it backwards & post first - then go look in the guidelines.)

My doctor took me off Ketek, Doryx and Plaquenil after 11 months of treatment last Saturday and now I am on Flagyl exclusively.

I'm to work my way up to 750mg per day. I've started at 250mg and am herxing badly. I will stop complaining if it WORKS!

thanks for asking this question. I've been wondering about that too.

I wonder for those of you who are on Flagyl, when it was added, did it seem like your symptoms had plateau'ed out on the old abx regimen?

Flagyl is a really bad word to me after being on it every other day for 5 pills. MAJOR HERX.

If you didn't see my post now revised to,
"I'M OK, police checked here on my health!",
please look at the symptoms I had when this occured.

I know TREEPATROL'S NEWBIE LINKS has a lot of flagyl info there; please read. Good luck.

Hello,
I was on antibiotics about a year before tindimax was added. I was about 90% healthy before the tindimax, and now the herxing has me at about 60% capacity. I've been on it two months now and am currently pulsing it three days a week.

I can't wait to get off this stuff!

Thanks,
Ms. Myo

My children & husband started flagyl on the 1st day of abx treatment for LD with their other abx.

Only my youngest doesn't take it - we can only get the generic & the generic does not come coated & he cannot swallow it before it dissolves in his throat. He has gastric reflux issues and not being able to swallow these causes problems. There is no children's liquid in flagyl.

Hi,

I am into my 14 mo. of treatment. Was on 1000 mg Ciften and 1000 mg Bixin. Doc put me on 750 mg Flagyl starting Saturday. I haven't been feeling very good.

Actualy pretty bad. Alot of traveling joint pain. I'm not feeling any different sence starting Flagyl yet. I'll be on it for 2 wks. and then he is going to add something. I'm not sure what.

can't remember exactly. definitely not right away. came upon it by accident. had a really awful stomach flu and was given flagyl which didn't help the flu at all but cleared up my mind a whole lot within days.

later i had to go off of it because of neuropathy, but on it again. so much better mentally because of it. still a long way to go, but much better.

I started Flagyl in month four. I was on Levaquin for 2 mos, then Biaxin and now Biaxin and Flagyl together. I had trouble swallowing this nasty pill so I read here to coat it with oil before taking it and MAN DOES THAT WORK!!!!

I do not feel much improvement and I am well into my 3-4 week. My vision is bad again and last night I had an awful dizzy spell.

I'm gonna get that lyme !!!
