Does anyone know of any llmds in perth australia? Im 3 months into iv rocephin but with my family on the other side of the country and im sposed to go home to my fiance in perth in just over a week. My doc wants me on ivs of some sort for 6-9 months. I thought i had docs lined up cos they said theyd do it but when theyve read about it they get scared off by risks of infection with piccs and basically theyre worried bout covering their butts so they say no. If anyone knows of anyone in perth or western australia please let me know. I cant even find a doc thats ever had a lyme patient!!! Im desperate you can email me at [email protected]Posts: 13 | From Australia | Registered: Oct 2005

Maybe your doc could arrange to work with a company in Perth that does home care with IV patients. Then he would be the doctor in charge of that and you could go to a local Perth doc for any emergencies and they would not be responsible for the picc line.
Maybe worth a try.
I will e-mail you with the address of another Ld patient in Australia. Maybe she will have some ideas, too.

Welcome OZ to our educational/support group board.
Try checking www.marshallprotocol.com and send a note to AUSSIE BARB; I'm sure she can help you find a LLMD! Best wishes to you on your lyme journey.
Also, be sure to print off TREEPATROL'S NEWBIE LINKS, 8 pages. Check them off as you read most important first.
Print off Dr. B's 2005 GUIDELINE TREATMENTS, 40 pages; he's our CHRONIC lyme LLMD.
Also, I'm going to make shoart paragraphs of 6-8 lines of text and DOUBLE space for us neuro lymies since we can't read/comprehend as is ok.
