Had an issue happen 3 days ago...wanted to run it across the group and see (hope) somebody could relate similiar situation or offer idea.
Went into ND to get IV for mag/b booster....while waiting, nurse took BP. Said, "Wow,great improvement...it's 117/68" I was astonished...I've been hovering in 80's/60 for last year and a half. Just visited Dr. C 2 weeks ago...BP was still 80/68.
Told her that was strange for me now, had try again...same thing. Hmmm...So next comes the IV, and couldn't get blood to draw back. Two ND's tried 6x...both arms, wrists and hand veins...nothing. Just abit of dark blood came back up...ND says looks like coagulation prob, gave me some Nattokinase.
Meanwhile, had to go to MD to check out area where PICC line use to be..(this is two days later) and BP is 128/72. I'm getting nervous now...this is quite a big jump so sudden. Told MD that BP has been low for quite awhile until last 3 days...she responded, "well, it's within normal range, don't see any concern". Told her about attemps at IV. Again, she wasn't too concern, said perhaps, dehydration (I drink alot of water..)but definately couldn't be coaguation.
Dr. C ran a hypercoagulation test when I last saw him...waiting for results. Anyone have any ideas on how/why BP could do this, or why the sudden sluggish blood draws? Heart's been feeling alot of pressure as well...thought it was because of blood sluggish, and BP higher due to trying to pump through? Again, MD didn't think so...though didn't offer any suggestions either.
Thanks for any insights... JavaBeing
PS Just started Doxy...though very minimal (100 mg daily...this last week) Haven't been able to build up higher yet.

Hmmmm. Not sure. The nattokinase is good, but be sure to speak to Dr C about it or any other product that would affect coagulation, since he will put you on heparin if you have hypercoagulation.
[You could take the natto or lumbrokinase instead of heparin, which is what I'm now doing. I took heparin for 3 yrs.]
I think the difficult blood draws are DIRECTLY influenced by hypercoagulation, but I don't understand why this recently became a problem for you.
MAYBE, the doxy is killing off alot of ketes and it's causing more inflammation in the body, which can affect the hypercoagulation.
I know my blood used to be so thick, they could never get my blood easily. They would get the vein, but my blood would be SOOO thick.
Not a problem anymore!
Hang in there. Hope someone has some answers for you!
PS... Seems like the BP would be LOWER once the hypercoagulation is under control.
