I agree with Annie. My dr. gets a full blood work-up every 3-4 weeks no matter what abx I am on. It's always good to be a bit more safe with this stuff.

When my son was on mepron for two months he had to have bloodwork done weekly. His llmd insisted.
Recently on IV with our new llmd it was, of course, weekly and then when off that..... it went to two weeks. If it was fine for a month.....then to three weeks.
We just did not ask this last time and now that he is on flagyl - I was just wondering what others do.
My llmd just has my other son and I do the labs monthly - even when he was on mepron.

Blood work Once a month on ketek. Thats what my LLMD is doing.
