I was dx'd about 3 yrs ago, good CT LLMD, got about 85% better with occasional relapses. Had a relapse coming on a month or so ago, went to LLMD, got rx for 6 weeks of mepron and zith, and this is the third time in 3 years I've used it, usually w/ good results.
In what I thought was unrelated, I've had some aching and slight clicking in my right shoulder, when I rotate it around. Not sharp pains, just an achy feeling. No biggie, everything aches!
Last night my arm felt funny, like full of fluid. It was swollen fromt eh elbow to wrist, but not a muscle. Felt like extra fluid.
I elevated my arm, and eventually got one of my compression knee highs I wear for mild edema in my legs (like venous stasis). It was better in a few hours. It's beginning to ache again today and feeling slightly full, swollen today.
Anybody have this with Mepron/Zith or other abx?
Thanks!

hey cindy leigh
I haven't had that problem. But when your arm blows up like a balloon,
call your doctor ASAP!
Because ,you never know. Edemea can happen with heart issues as well
I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Cindy, this happened to me once when taking babs meds (zith, mepron) but in my lower right leg/ankle.I think for me it was caused by massive die off and my body couldn't detox fast enough? kt

I did not think of heart problems, my pulse and BP are fine, lungs are clear (no sounds of fluid like in heart failure). I'm an RN, we make the worst patients, always self-assessing!
Die-off, yes, maybe. I always have a cup of detox and immune support tea every day, maybe I need to boost those.
