I have burning in my upper left back and shoulder area every day. I'm not sure if it's from Lyme, a disc in my neck, or both. I've had it for a long time though. I don't know if it is common with Lyme. What do you mean by "buzzing"?

I've had burning and buzzing of varying degrees for the past nine years. I think many with neuro-Lyme have some degree of this.

Huge Huge changes. I have gone from about an 8 on a 1-10 scale to about a 1 or 2. Most of the time, I don't feel it at all. Under higher stress, I may still get a slight sensation, but the "burning" that was painful is becoming a memory....

buzzing, I guess it is like tingling times ten. When my buzzing gets real bad it is like vibrating.

I get buzzing/vibrating too. It just moved to a new place (my eyebrow & forehead) and gets really wild at night. It visits other places from time to time. Stress makes it much worse, brings it out right away. It happens most right after I take tetracycline. I associate it with the tetra finding some lyme and getting into a battle with it. hats
