200mg 2x daily. Developed light, bumpy, itchy rashes on forearms after two weeks at this dose.....somewhat like a light case of poison oak.
Have had limited exposure to sunlight, and haven't been sweating.
I've also been careful about magnesium and other supplement cross reactions....I think.
Anyone with similiar reactions????

Forgot, also, just had surgery two days ago.......which come to think of it was about when this started.....hmmmmmm??....anyways, I had a 1 gram IV dose of Kefsol(Cephalexin/Keflex?) with the surgery. Now wondering if allergic response was initiated by the Kefsol and is now being aggravated by the Doxy?

I have a rash just like yours. I got it after sun came through my drivers window going on a long drive.

It does look like poison ivy. It itched at first then it got bright red.

My doctor told me it was from Doxy and the sun. He said to use zinc, cover with clothing if possible until it heals.

I got it over ten days ago. I still have it. It is on my left forearm. It is getting a bit better now.

Good luck with yours. DorrieC
