I read that it effects breathing, loss of muscle tone. Any other symptoms?

I have 2 strains of Mycos. That was the first thing I found that I was infected with, one being Fermentans which is supposed to br real nasty. At the time, I blamed all of my symptoms on that. Fluish, hurt from head to toe, headaches 24/7, exhaustion, nausea, just about all of it. Then I learned I also had Lyme, so which symptoms go with what, I'm not entirely sure. Treatment is pretty much the same and so are most of the symptoms. I have since learned that the skinnies, night sweats, and a prolonged period of not sweating at all may have been Babesia.
Soooo, I am sure that this is no help at all, or maybe you are more confused then ever. Sorry.

You could try a search of the archives for mycoplasma. There have been discussions in the past about treatment and symptoms, however I am not sure it is really possible to sort out the symptoms when you have multiple tickborne germs.
Matthias seems to be the resident expert on mycoplasma. Haven't seen him around lately, maybe private message him if you still have questions after reading what is already posted in the archives. Not sure whether it is spelled Matthias or Mathias. My spelling isn't so good anymore.

You will find an explanation of treatment here. Sroll down to about page 20, G. That's how I was treated for Mycoplasma; i.o.w. almost none, besides the treatments for the other co-infections, Rechtsregulat and the KMT took care of it.

Mycoplasma is an absolute lyme disease mimic.
It can become a systemic, chronic infection just like lyme and can affect any organ or system, not just the lungs. It is also very difficult to get rid of.
Floroquinlones, which are typically not used for the treatment of lyme disease, are for the most part the best course of therapy. Depending on the species you are infected with some other more common abx like Biaxin and Zithromax may also help.
