I know we are all different but how long should I wait till I see improvement? I was sick for approx. six years before being diagnosed with lyme and co-infections.
Hence, I am fairly sick. About six months into treatment and I still feel horrible.
At what point do most start improving? At what point do you question if you are getting proper treatment though it sounds right (from research and on here)?
I just feel so horrible and don't feel better, so anybody that took longer to feel better PLEASE let me know! Thanks :-) This is far from enjoyable at best.

I started to feel a bit better after 10 months of continuous treatment. One day I noticed my back didn't hurt so much. It is very gradual, with some days better than others.
During the second year of treatment I started to improve more quickly and am pretty close to normal at almost 3 years of treatment. Do I still have keets in my system, absolutely. Some day I might get them all!

I'm pretty sure I've had lyme a long time. I noticed a difference with some symptoms once I started taking 400 mgs of doxycycline.
I had been on 200 mgs of doxy for three weeks and prior to that 1500 mgs of tetracycline for 2 1/2 weeks.
Only after doubling the dosage of doxy did I notice a difference. My fatigue/tiredness went away, my memory seemed a little clearer & my hair stopped falling out in the shower.
I still have symptoms, but losing the above had made me feel better.
Hope you get better soon.
