My Lyme was finally diagnosed because of the presence of a rash....not a bullseye or EM rash. My rash was raised (didn't itch or hurt) and started around my ankles, and moved upwards to mid-shin. Also was on the insides of my calves.
The biopsy came back as granuloma annulare, but my LLMD told me it was a Lyme rash called granuoma majorlare (which I've looked up and can't find).
I thank God for that rash....33+ years undiagnosed and everyone thought I was nuts.... Good Luck! Jill

I forgot to tell you that those rashes would last exactly 3 weeks, fade, then peel like a sunburn.
I have a very small (lima bean size) patch on my hand, it has been there for over 3 months. It's a little faded, but I think my LLMD is using it as a marker of some sort.
Not sure if this helps....
