I was diagnosed I think in August or Sept., put on doxy 2 months, helped alot. Then tetra for 6 weeks....total backslide. Now IV Rocephin & 1500 mg Flagyl daily for last 7 weeks, and I don't see any improvement.
Only in my speech, it's gotten better. All of a sudden I have joint pain again, terrible fatigue, still numbness in face, and other sx. But I also got bronchitis, sinus infection & UTI this week.
And still don't know if I've herxed, or just had the flu, or all of the reoccurance of sx are herxes.

I was diagnosed in January of 05... I started on doxy, lasted three days before I was hospitalized, had IV vancomycin, and rocephin for a week, had a PICC line for 6 weeks with rocephin, and have been just hanging around, sucking in air for about a year. My symptoms never improved, and only got worse.
I was on a waiting list for 5 months with an area LLMD, when I looked elsewhere, and landed an appt for Thurs. Can't wait to get this stupid disease out of m body.
